The Fondation welcomes its first Director of Partnerships and Major Donations: Michelle Alie

The Fondation des jeunes de la DPJ is pleased to welcome Michelle Alie—well-known in the business community—to the newly created position of Director of Partnerships and Major Donations.

Michelle has an MBA from McGill University and nearly 40 years of experience in the corporate and business world. She has worked for, among others, Montréal International for ten years as director, then vice president of financing and private partnerships. She has also had stints in the media and information industry, at Le Devoir daily, magazines l’Actualité, Châtelaine and Magazine VÉRO, where she developed trusting professional relationships, as well as an acumen for creating successful, lasting partnerships.

The needs of youth in the care of the DYP are growing and Michelle is arriving at a pivotal time in the Fondation’s development. Driven by the desire to always keep doing more and based on the good results of joining forces with other organizations working with the most vulnerable youth in our society, the Fondation needed someone to carry on the work in the long term and provide a memorable philanthropic experience. Michelle will be this key person acting as the link between the legacy of major donors and the needs of youth in the care of the DYP.
