Starting with the 2023 season, the Montréal Alouettes will offer 60 tickets per game to youths in the care of the DYP. The Alouettes Foundation will also donate 50% of the funds raised during two of its 50/50 raffles. The players will also visit young people in rehabilitation centers throughout the greater Montreal area.
I am extremely proud of this agreement because Alouettes’ players will be visiting youths in rehabilitation centers, and inviting them to home games.
The organization is going to bring a ray of sunshine into the lives of these children. The Alouettes football players will become role models for these future adults, and today marks the beginning of a beautiful story.
The Fondation des jeunes de la DPJ, through its mission and commitment, does remarkable work with children and teenagers who are experiencing difficulties in their lives. For the Montreal Alouettes, contributing to the Foundation’s efforts means investing in these young people and their potential. It is also an opportunity for the players, and for our organization to get involved in a tangible way with the hope, and the will, to make a difference.
