The Fondation des jeunes de la DPJ: an essential ally in opening up a field of possibilities
Too often defined by prejudices, the young people of the DYP don’t allow themselves to step outside of their reality which they wrongly perceive as normal. In the minds of these hurt children or injured teenagers, exists the belief that they are not worth any effort or any hope. As a result, they do not allow themselves to dream, like other young people their age. The future is far from open and inspiring.
This is where the Fondation des jeunes de la DPJ comes in. It has the capacity to transform a young person’s vision of their future. It can inspire. It can give hope. It can ignite the dreams that change everything …
Our mission,
Our promise
The Fondation des jeunes de la DPJ’s mission is to change how youths in care see their future by giving them the courage and confidence to believe in a world of possibilities.
In addition to advocating for the Quebec youths in need of protection, the Foundation engages the public and supplements government funding to quickly meet specific, individual needs.
