The Fondation des jeunes de la DPJ is pleased to announce that Maude Noël-Létourneau has been appointed Senior Director, Philanthropic Development, Communications and Events.
In her new role, Maude will be responsible for integrated fundraising planning, supervising communication initiatives and the Fondation’s signature events. This appointment is part of the Fondation’s growth and reflects its desire to diversify its sources of funding, while strengthening ties with the corporate world and institutional partners.
I’m delighted to welcome Maude to this key position in the organization. Her wealth of experience in the corporate world and her extensive background in public affairs, communications and events make her an invaluable asset to the Fondation. Her addition to the team will take our mission to new heights and allow us to expand our impact on youths in the care of the DYP.
Until recently, Maude Noël-Létourneau was working as associate director of philanthropy and community relations at Power Corporation of Canada. Over the course of her career, she has also held strategic roles at the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and the SAQ, supervising sizeable philanthropic portfolios and working closely with top executives on major campaigns and honorary chairs. This experience allows her to bring an innovative perspective to refine the Fondation’s approach in the business community. In addition to her duties, she was recently appointed to the board of directors of Quebec’s consumer protection bureau (Office de la protection du consommateur).
After working for major institutions for 15 years, I decided to put my expertise to use for a very human cause. Joining the Fondation means I get the invaluable opportunity to actually help build a fairer, more hopeful future for youths who need it the most. I’m very proud to be joining a team that is dedicated to a very important mission—one that has always been very dear to me.
