A most generous Christmas campaign

Quebecers came together to support youths in the care of the DYP

The Fondation des jeunes de la DPJ’s Christmas campaign was a resounding success again this year.

The campaign was marked by a strong spirit of giving, despite social and economic hardships, as Quebecers responded to the call and renewed their support for youths in society with the greatest need.

It was heartwarming to see the public and so many companies supporting the Fondation again this year, and engaging to give youths in the care of the DYP a brighter future.

Donations collected will allow the Fondation to pursue its mission and to help an ever growing number of youths in Montreal and in many regions across Quebec throughout the year. This generosity and trust are much appreciated.

The Fondation would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the donors, partners and volunteers who made this Christmas campaign a tremendous success. And a special thanks to Cossette marketing agency, Cinémas Guzzo and Evovest for their extensive involvement in this campaign.

As a result of the various initiatives carried out during the holidays, thousands of gifts were also collected for youths in the care of the DYP. Thank you to the devoted elves who gathered, sorted and gave out these gifts and raised a lot of smiles. Giving a gift to a youth in the care of the DYP means much more than getting to unwrap a gift. It’s also a really special way of telling these youths that they are important and people are thinking about them.
